Policy Roundtable

Policy Roundtable

There’s a popular perception that government policy changes only come from those within it. The policy influencers tend to be entrenched bureaucrats or politicians who’ve been around for a while.

However, that doesn’t have to be the case. The BC Young Liberals are proud to be holding a policy roundtable this Saturday at 2PM at the SFU Harbour Centre (Room 1505) where you can have an influence on the direction of our province.

If you have any policy ideas for changes or additions to what British Columbia has already put forward, come prepared with your case. If you’re not quite sure yet what you’re passionate about changing, come out and listen and discuss with others about their ideas.

Don’t forget to register, and we look forward to seeing you there!

Jon Barry

Vice President of Operations

Speaking directly to young people

Speaking directly to young people

Tomorrow is Election Day in BC. With voter turn-out so low among students we need to be out there more than ever before. Let's take a moment to talk about our motto "strong economy, secure tomorrow''. It is as if they are speaking directly to every student and young person across BC. There is so much on the line for us and our future. This election is the difference between a solid foundation post graduation or a weak economy full of uncertainty. Remember to vote and bring a friend with you.

Everything you need to know about voting tomorrow can be found at the following link: http://www.elections.bc.ca/index.php/voting/
